Our friendship began long before most of our memories. Our lives crossed at the age of 3, somewhere in a tiny village in the mountains, stumbling and falling into deep powder-snow whilst looking for the Easter Bunny.

From the beginning, we connected through our adventurous curiosity towards life mixed with a good dose of creative absurdity.

Even though we grew up separated by long distances, we kept our friendship flourishing through chaotic drawn and written letters and endless telephone calls on Sunday flat-rates.

Wherever one was in the world, the other would join – hitchhiking through Japan with poorly written signs, diving in the depths of the Caribbean Sea, hosting dinners parties in the Parisian catacombs and swinging the hammer for a debut photo exhibition.

As teenagers, we fantasised about moving to Berlin as broken artists – Jo as a photographer, Kat as a painter. A decade later, we finally made it happen and less broken than expected. We initially failed at sobriety, we laid a strong foundation in a powerful artistic community and grew a visual language that speaks from our hearts.

We are passionate to learn of others’ visions and fantasies, supporting artistic projects by capturing and documenting them.
